Almond Oil Sweet CP Virgin Prunis dulcis
A popular carrier it is light textured. Contains a variety of vitamin and minerals, notably high in vitamin D. Often used as a base for massage oils.
Aromatherapy Essential Oils
Aromatherapy uses Essential oils which are distilled from flowers, leaves, roots and bark of plants and is used to relieve symptoms and aid the treatment of emotional and physical problems, or just add an enriching, sensual aroma.The essential properties of the oils can be absorbed through the skin or mucous membranes.
Avocado Oil CP Virgin Persea americana
This oil has a beautiful velvety feel on the skin with a high content of vitamins, protein, lecithin, and essential fatty acids. Beneficial for mature, dry and itchy skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil CP Prunis armeniaca
Lightly textured it easily penetrates the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Rich in essential fatty acids: oleic and linoleic. Beneficial for dry, sensitive and mature skins.
Castor Oil Ricinus communis
A thick oil which soothes and is a useful moisturiser in creams and balms. Also can draw out splinters and toxins from the body when used in a hot oil packs. Â
Citrus Seed Extract                                                                                             Â
Is derived from grapefruit and a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is active against a wide variety of bacteria and fungi. Is used in cosmetics as a preservative to inhibit a range of yeasts and moulds.
Coconut Virgin CPÂ Oil Organic Cocos nucifera
A light oil which is a great moisturiser on its own as it is readily absorbed and does not leave a greasy residue. Is great in creams, lotions and balms and is also used for cooking.
Elderflower Sambucus nigra
Elderflower has been used since the 19th century in cosmetics as a skin toner:, eye compress to help reduce wrinkles and helped clear the complexion of freckles. Mildly astringent and soothing properties.
Emulsifying Wax - Vegetable derived
We use only plant (vegetable) derived. It effectively binds both water and oils together. Because the oil remains mixed with the water, the wax actually helps the oil penetrate the skin, thereby replacing lost moisture.
Epsom Salts
Epsom salts are mineral salts of magnesium sulphate. Used as bath salts to relieve sore and aching muscles as they are detoxifying and relaxing. Also can be used in drawing poultices. Citrus trees also benefit from a yearly application around the drip line.
Glycerine Vegetable
Plant derived Glycerine (can be synthetically made) is a humectant which has water-binding capabilities that allow it to draw and absorb water from the air.
Hazelnut Oil CP Corylus avellana
Very light in texture and easily absorbed. Ideal for mature or oily skin.
Hempseed Oil CP Cannabis sativa
Rapidly penetrates the skin. It is high in essential fatty acids and a great skin moisturiser. An excellent oil for those with eczema and similar skin conditions.
Honey
Unprocessed honey has antiseptic, hygroscopic and healing properties. It can be applied to help heal sores and draw ulcers. Honey used in Happy Valley products is produced from our own beehives, on a property using organic practices.
Jojoba Oil CP Organic Simmondsia chinensis
Nourishing to the skin and hair, rich in Vitamin E. Contains antibacterial properties. Mixes with our natural sebum and follows its pathways deep into the skin. Jojoba promotes healthy skin by stabilising and maintaining the intercellular structure.
Macadamia Oil CPÂ Macadamia integrifolia
Highly compatible with all skin types from the very young to the very old. A light oil which is suitable for all cosmetic products.

Oats are extremely soothing on the skin and help to treat overly dry, irritated or sensitive skin conditions. Good for treatments on delicate skin such as face and neck.
Rosehip Oil CP Organic Rosa rubiginosa
High in gamma-linoleic acid, this oil is well known for its skin regenerative properties and is often used for scars, burns, stretch marks. Helps restore your skins natural appearance and tones skin.

Wheatgerm Oil Virgin CP Triticum vulgare
Wheatgerm is our richest natural source of Vitamin E and one of the best anti-aging ingredients. It is also rich in vitamins A & B and essential fatty acids EFA that strengthen the skin. Helps to heal scar tissue, smooth stretch marks and soothe burns.
